Hello Campers!

The camp committee has been hard at work planning another great camp. Four relaxing days to do whatever it is you wish. Whether you craft all day and night or just lounge, it is time to register! There are lots of activities planned. We have all those favorite camp activities you love to enjoy including Skit Night, Bingo, Name Tag and Table Decorating, Movie, Show-and-Tell as well as the Silent Auction, Craft Basket Raffle and Quilt Raffle, just to name a few!

We will be collecting pieces from those who participated in last year's Million Pillowcase Challenge through our Heartstrings Project. This has been a GREAT way to give back to the community!

We will be offering a raffle for new campers and those who brought them. Bring a friend to be entered in a chance to win 2018 Camp at 50% off!

We will be having a Bonfire to celebrate the first night at camp. As promised we will be having a giant painting party for all those who would like to customize their camp T-shirts, Totes, and Aprons. Information is available online.

The raising and lowering of our flag will be dedicated to our loved ones.

Cabins will be pre-assigned. As a reminder, Piatt Lodge is for campers with serious medical conditions and Cabins 1 and 2 are for those with limited mobility. We will do our best to give you your cabin choice as well as cabin mate(s), although we cannot make any guarantee. Due to the growing needs of our campers, able-bodied Piatt Lodge companions may be asked to take upper bunks.

Golf cart shuttle for those with limited mobility who are in the outer cabins is available. Please note on your registration if you will need this service. The shuttle will run several times during the day

We are doing our part to help Mother Earth. Confirmation packets may be printed from our website. Packets will only be mailed to those without email.

Our Camp dates are October 6, 2017 - October 9, 2017 and our Camp Theme is PRICELESS CAMP MEMORIES. The fee for camp is $125.00. Registrations are due by September 5th. Please note that all registrations postmarked after September 5th will incur a $5.00 late fee and may/may not be included in the camp booklet. Registrations postmarked after September 20th will be returned.

Please note our refund policy: No refunds for cancellations that occur less than 10 days before the start of camp. Registrations cancelled 10 days before the first day of camp will receive a 100% refund.

Camp officially begins at 1:00 pm Friday and ends at 1:00 pm (Dining Hall will close at noon) Monday.

Registration and class sign-up will begin at 11:00 am and end at 1:00 pm with the Newcomers' Tea at 1:00pm.

Campers may arrive at camp no earlier than 8:00 am Friday morning. Committee Members will be at the gate to Welcome You and pass out Cabin Numbers.

The option of Thursday night lodging is available at an additional charge. Please contact chairperson@illinoishomemakerscamp.com for more information.
